Bookmarking Deals - Does it worth?
This question comes to my mind often. Most great deals expire within few days of going live. So best option is to grab it, as soon as possible. However, at fancy-shoppe.com, besides listing new deals, we also update existing deals, even expired ones, as soon as we receive 'rush at it' signal from respective merchants.
Example:
Take a look at this HP 530 Laptop featuring Intel Core Duo 1.83GHz, 1GB DDR2, 160GB HDD, 15.4" Display. When we added it, the offer price was $599.99. Now it is available at a even lower price @ $499.99 Only using $100 MIR at TigerDirect. We have updated the page accordingly reflecting these changes.
Now this Magellan Maestro 3100 GPS(Refurbished) unit was priced @ $99.99, when we first added that item. TigerDirect.com still offers $20 Instant Savings on list price, so, that $99.99 offer still stands good at TigerDirect. But when you add shipping charges, the item costs appx. $107.98.
Whereas Buy.com now offers the same item for $98.99 Only w/ free shipping. So, it looks like a better deal!
We have, therefore, updated the page accordingly.
So, my conclusion is that even if you see a deal that has expired, either subscribe to respective RSS feed, or Bookmark it. Whenever we'll locate a price drop, we'll update that page.
Now take a look at the updates from different stores over the past 24 hours!
